Chad Wiedemann - CS Career Speaker
Chad graduated from The College of William and Mary in 2006 with a degree in Finance. He worked for about 10 years in the finance industry working for firms such as UBS and AXA Equitable. During his time in the industry he earned the CFA designation. In 2016 Chad switched careers to the technology field. He attended an iOS development bootcamp in NYC "Turn To Tech". Following the completion of the boot camp he went to work as an internal iOS developer for Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne Indiana. For the past 5 years he has been working as an iOS developer on the Location Systems team at Life360. He has led many projects at Life360. His code contributions power some of the most significant location features of the Life360 app. Additionally, he also contributes to the company's talent acquisition team as the lead algorithm interviewer. He is a devoted husband, father of 4 and lives in Flemington NJ.
Phil Jasina - Cyber Case Study Speaker
Detective Jasina is currently assigned to the Detective Bureau and serves as the Ridge High School Resource Officer. He routinely investigates crimes that occur within Bernards Township and pursues charges on crimes that have a nexus to Bernards Township. He particularly enjoys leveraging technology in ways to make investigations more efficient and evidence more robust. Detective Jasina also enjoys hosting crime-prevention seminars within the Township in order to teach individuals how to reduce their victimization exposure. Prior to working in the Detective Bureau, Detective Jasina was assigned to the Patrol Division where he responded to all emergent and non-emergent calls for service. He also worked as a Somerset County Sheriff's Officer where he provided Superior Court security and prisoner transportation to and from local, county, state and federal correctional facilities.
